OGLS offers classes for children of all ages and knowledge levels of German.
The number of students attending determines the number and levels of offered classes.
The instruction is mostly held in German (immersion) but occasionally English can be used if deemed necessary for understanding. Our instructors are predominantly native speakers, as well as teachers of German with many years of experience.
Our adult classes are for beginners and advanced students.
Many parents, instead of dropping their children off at the school and then returning later to pick them up, decide to stay and learn German along with their children.
The focus of the adult class is conversation, and the goal is to be able to communicate with native German speaking people.
The adults also have the opportunity to test their abilities by taking American Association of Teachers of German High School Tests and/or European German Language Diplomas.
We are pleased to offer individual tutoring. Course content can be customized to meet your individual needs, and time and place is flexible. Tutoring is offered on a referral basis. Please contact the director for more information.
